The train crashes, and Big Lin ends up stranded on an island where he chooses luxury over life. Big Lin and Little Lin has unusual ideas, hyperbole, bold imagination, twists and turns, which makes for a highly interesting read. Its biting critique of the love of money, expressed in humorous and lively language, is never didactic nor heavy handed
